I believe that it is the responsibility of any business leader to seriously consider the impact of their business on society and the global ecosystem. This responsibility includes taking action to mitigate this impact, both inside the business and towards the customer.
I’m proud that the business I founded and lead has long pursued sustainable e-commerce business practices. In 2009, YOOX created the Ecobox™, the first plastic-free packaging made from 100% recyclable materials in fashion e-commerce. By the end of 2018, all packaging across YOOX NET-A-PORTER will be fully recyclable or made of fully recycled materials.
